I just wanted to say that I think it's awesome (and kinda sad and disturbing) that so many of us are still hanging around here, making friends and getting to know one another. It's been four (maybe five) months since I saw "The Ring", and three (maybe four) since I saw "Ringu", and I'm still here. I feel like a newbie, too, with all these Ring-Geeks and -Gods all around me. When this board began, I'll bet that nobody here imagined how popular and huge it would be. I check the board every day, and, now that we have the Ring Chat, I do that every day, too. I hope to see more of you guys on there, by the way. Ringu was a great movie, and I still love it, but that's not what keeps me coming back here. It's the people. So, raise your glass and toast to everyone else: After the now-ancient Christmas, and into the aging new year, here's to coming back often, posting and spreading good cheer! You shouldn't use your power in this way, for it is not correct.

I must say, I'm surprised to still be around too, but the people here really are cool, and it's hard to find nice communities on the net. I'm also surprised that I'm still interested in the Ring movies - other "cult movies" have never affected me in such a way. .

I can remember posting the very first message (sure was lonely!) around midnight last June or July, then checking it around 7:00 am the next day and was thrilled to find there were already three members. The remake will be released in March on DVD in America and the original in April, in Februray the remake will be released in Cinemas in the UK and across Europe, also sometime this year I believe 'Ring 0:Birthday' is to be broadcast on British Television for the first time. So things are certainly not slowing down, more and more fans are going to join.
