I've been reading Ranma since 1994, and I've never looked back. I have the graphic novels in English from 1 - 19, and about 7 novels in Japanese. There's something about reading Japanese sound effects in English that just seems ... Rong. Prefer the Japanese, but some of it can get pretty confusing - like the explanations of temperature change during the "Hiryuu shouten haa" moves. Oh well, at least Happosai shares the same hobbies as us both. "There you are, my silky darlings!" Heh!

Turtle God Kame the chosen infected (7/18/02 5:40:17 pm) Reply	>) that and christianity is a stretch as it is... way too many things to make it work cause it cant really stand up to logic... for instance, the entire basis and distinction of christianity is that jesus is god. ok, but where in the bible does he say that? he NEVER explictly states "hey, I'm god!" it's just ppl twist it around to mean what they like (cause you know, at first they couldnt understand how he could have died, but later said he WAS the massiah who was mardered... needless to say, most jews didnt buy it). but if you want an absolutely fascinating look at the whole thing, read nicheia (sorry, cant spell today, but you know who I mean)... he writes an interesting breakdown of morals and how the majorities and minorities of societies differ and that the minority eventually overtakes the majority!!! by majority, I mean master morality, and minority, slave morality. so in a way, I think it's due time for a change... probably within my lifetime we'll see the fall of catholisism Go to Kame's House for assorted junk! Anywho Disco, my avatar is a "Genetically Modified Bear" (or "Modbear" for short) that I stole off the wonderful Radiohead's old website a few months ago. I wouldn't get too attached to him though he's gonna be disposed of to make way for someone else.... Should it be Stimpy or an incredibly old videogame character? Hmmmmm, decisions decisions.
