Past Life
Experiences
Hello everyone, I just kind of woke up and started thinking about
this, so, bear with me ^_^'
Does anyone here believe in past
life experiences?
If so, do you think that you have had any?
What were you, what did you do?
Has anyone here ever been
regressed to find out?
If a past life helps to mould us into
who we are today, what do you think Sadako did in her past life,
and, what would she be doing in her current one?
This
probably sounds like some kind of school essay, but I really am
genuinely curious about it. Personally, I do believe in Past Lives.
I have some some very strange quirks to my personality that I can't
really explain otherwise.
But what do you all think?

Me and me family (bein wiccan an all) do believe in pst lives and
such - but i dont have a clue what i was!!!! My Nan often messes ad
says - "You must have been a victim of sweeny todd - why else would
you like your hair like that!!"
As for Sadako and her past
lives im thinkin the present one might be Mais baby - and mai bein
sadakos mum (maybe her idea from beyond the grave to right the
wrongs done to sadako and er) - and her boyfriend from RING 0 is
none other tan...YOICHI!!!

I currently do not believe in past lives, because, personally, I
have no reason to. (I have no reason to 'disbelieve' it,
either)
But I'm always open to fresh input.
I cannot
understand my existence entirely as of now, and I don't know if I
will ever be able to do so, but I think that consciousness is our
own 'mind trap', which prevents us from reaching that
understanding...
...and who asked me, anyway...?

I don't believe in past lives, but I'll admit to having frequent
bouts of inexplicable déjà vu. I find the concept very interesting.

Yeah, it's the unexplainable deja vu that I find interesting as
well. I often see places I have never seen been before in my dreams,
and then find myself there a couple of months later. The brain
definatly has some psychic ablility, it's just a lot of people are
not susceptable to it. That said, I am well aware that there are
more than a few fruit loops claiming to have this
power.
Maybe psychics are an advanced form of human being.
Evolution is always continuing, maybe this is the future ...a bit
like X Men I suppose

wearing oldish clothes...

Makes me wonder if perhaps we inherit fragments of
knowledge/memories from our ancestors when we're developing before
birth. Kinda crazy, but think of it, I mean we inherit genetric
traits from our parents/ancestors - why not memories/feelings?

My Grandmother is a quite remarkable psychic, and once she read my
mother's Akashic Records. My mother found out that in one of her
past lives, a couple hundred years ago, she was a man who was having
an affair with a married woman. Of course this escalated to
obsession, then he kidnapped his lover in a plan to escape with her
and live somewhere away from the scandal of their affair. He put her
into a shipping crate to board a boat (create the illusion that he
left town without her). He was captured before departure and killed.
They didn't find his lover until the next day; She had suffocated
inside the crate.
Messed up.
Did you know that Tibetan
Buddhists believe that if you have done bad things for your karma,
you become reincarnated as a woman? Jasies.... if everyone had good
karma, the human race would become extinct!

I had the strangest episode of deja vu the other night while
watching The Happiness of the Katakuris for the first time. About
two-thirds of the way through I suddenly knew exactly what was going
to happen for the next minute or so. It was very peculiar, nearly as
strange as the film itself

Being the extreme dullard that I am, I haven't experienced any
hints at past lives, or deja vu for that matter.
I do have an
awful lot of really, REALLY messed up dreams though. And not the
good kind.

I had Dejà Vu before, but I think that the brain has the ability to
duplicate the experience at the same instant that it is perceived.
Since our brain pulls off all sorts of tricks, I don't get surprised
it can even create memories all on it's own...
I don't think
that the brain is THAT 'reliable', even though it's everything we
got...

Yeah, I heard that was related to brain synapse lasping. That your
brain records an instant in time twice and that, due to a synapse
misfire, it fools your brain into thinging it is seeing something it
saw 24-48 hours ago.
Though I do belive in past lives. I have
never myself experienced any prior history. However, my Husband and
I genuinely felt we had known each other prior to our first meeting.
Its a very STRONG feeling like we have spent countless years
together.

DREAM
THEATER!!!!!
yer - past lives was the topic of a Dream Theater album - named
"Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From A Memory" and is about a dude who
killed a young girl in a past life or summet - really cool album,
and my fav band!! Well worth a check - it ranges from Hard rock to
mellow accoustic with some fudged up progressive mind-messin noise
in the middle...and thats the first two
tracks,...

stopped payin me to be a plant so i moved on ---- i now work for Wet
Dream -- the Swedish Company makin their own remake - involving a tv
