Ok, now THIS is comedy!!!
This is what your friend Disco does with his spare time.

I successfully intorduced my Japanese friend to the Ring last night! It was certainly difficult for her to watch all of it. (worst parts were: Reiko's polaroid, Sadako's arm in the well, Sadako's entrance and ... THE EYE!) So anyhoo, about halfway through the movie, my bro calls me.
Needless to say, it was NOT good timing! My friend here almost sh.i.t herself! But this gave us an idea ...

I took the phone call in the other room and we dicussed our "game plan". This is what happened:

During the movie, I told her: "Look, that Japanese Uni I'm going to might ring tonight. So if the phone calls and I'm busy, can you answer it for me?" After the movie ended, I told her "I'm just going to the toilet now". While she was doing the dishes, I got my Sadako wig, my white gown and called my bro in Sydney discreetly on my cell phone.
My friend answers the phone, and (with scary music accompanying him) my bro says in perfect Japanese: "MITA YO! OMAE WA ISSHUKAN SHINUYO!!!" (You saw it! You will die in one week!) And then he hung up the phone immediately.

Bwa ha ha ha haaaa~!!!

Oh, but I'm not finished, friends. Not by a LONG shot!

So then I hear her gasp in fear and throw the phone away. (Funny!) Then I come around the corner - hair over my face, and crawl along the ground coming after her!
She turnes around and gives the LOUDEST f'ing scream I've ever heard!! I crawl up to her and grab her leg, and say ...

"Hi! Miss me?"

She then proceeded to beat the shite out of me and slap me in that silly way that girls do, laughing and crying at the same time. (why do girls do that, anyway?)

Anyhoo, I called my bro back and told him what happened. I told her it was my brother that called her. More slapping followed, along with calls of "I HATE you!!"

Ahhh. Life is good! :D

EDIT: Considering my bro doesn't speak a WORD of Japanese, I was most proud of him for doing that! ;)

Now now, gentlemen! SURELY you don't suggest that a chaste young lad such as myself would do such things now, would you? :p

Well, I met her at my shite-hole of a Uni. She was studying Engrish there as I was studying Japanese, so one day our teacher decided to mix the classes, and we became good friends. We usually went out with a group of people for BBQs and bowling and stuff like that. 'Twas fun. All those people have gone back to Japan by now - but she's just here 4 a quick holiday.
So that's how I met her. There were a lot of hotties at my Uni last year. I remember this classic little ditsy chick who was a total kogyaru! (fashion chick. literally a Japanese Engrish translation of "small girl". Ko = small/end of a name gyaru = the closest possible equivalent that Japanese can say for 'girl')
So anyway, here was this stupid idiot at our beach volleyball game. It was 37degrees Celcius, but she still insisted on wearing the flared jeans, biiiig sunglasses, and those damn 15cm high booties! (they're called "atsuzoko")

Ever seen someone try to run after a volleyball or sheild from a spike in 15cm tall shoes? Pfeh!!
