You'll remember how a month or so ago I told you guys how my shithouse Uni LOST my frickin' application to study in Japan? Well with less than two months to go, I only find out today that I need an application form to stay with a host family! Well GEE! I've only been telling them that for the past FIVE FCKING MONTHS!!!!!!! So now they say that I'm probably too late to live with a host family - all because they were too stupid/lazy/incompetent/sadistic to give me a fcking application sheet! So now I'm gonna have to live with some other Aussie, Yankee and Pommie fckwit students instead of with a jin-u-wine Japanese family! What's the fcking point of THAT?? How the hell can I learn real Japanese if I'm living with a bunch of foreigners 24-7?!! It's SO PATHETIC! I hate my goddam Uni SO MUCH! It's like they seriously wanna fck me over in every possible way! I ASK them for all the information I need, and they fcking withhold it from me until 6 weeks before I'm leaving for Japan!! Well fck that! As of tomorrow, I'm going straight to the Dean of this sh!thole and I'm gonna rain bricks on all those motherfckers who've ruined my chances! FVCK THEM ALL!!!!!!!

I can't stay with my girlfriend because she's an imaginary sock puppet called Martina Hand-gis. No seriously - it's because she lives at least 4 hours train ride away from my Uni there. So I can only meet her on the weekends. But anyhoo - here's the latest. After being given a FALSE email address to contact someone in Japan about living with a host family, I called again yesterday to ask for a REAL email address this time. No go with this one either. I drag myself to Uni yet again and confront the sadist in question. THIS time I get the right email address, and send it off. But this is the reply (SOME of it anyway): ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your email. We deeply regret that we no longer offer/introduce homestay accommodation to international students on a long term basis, except for 'the weeeknd homestay' that takes place several times per annum. The students living in the *** who wish to stay with a local family tends to find on their own. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- So now it seems that even though I've been discussing with everyone at my uni for the past five months that I wanna live with a host family and WON'T be staying with the other students; they neglected to mention: "Oh, well that's impossible anyway. They don't do a host family program there anymore". Grrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhhh~!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOESN'T ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING AROUND HERE??!!!

I was set to go at the end of March this year, when a HUGE mother of a contract literally fell into my lap, and it was "Hmmm...go to Japan for three weeks, or wait and make a boatload of money for the trouble." Actually, due to our (relatively) close proximity to Japan, Aussies get employed more than Americans for JET. That's actually the master plan, dude. First I study for a year to get some fine Nihongo happening, THEN I go back with the JET program! Needless to say, I'm staying the fu*k away from NOVA. Can't exactly say I've ever heard a single GOOD story about them ... When I get the job, maybe I can arrange some spare time away from JET to travel around Japan. Probably on the "weeeknds".

I'd probably start teaching there by around September 2003 (if my wildly inaccurate guesses are correct), and I should be able to stay there for a little while longer. So ... umm, maybe? Of COURSE he's not available for a one-on-one meeting with me. I bet it's that damn secretary trying to avoid the issue - knowing FULL WELL that she's first in line for abuse! Here's hoping I don't get my cracker ass expelled over this rubbish. But hey, if he tries, I'll be a rich man with all the crap I can sue his bItch ass for!
