Disco's back!
... well, sorta
Err, yeah. Like the title suggests, I'm back in the saddle. Feeling
much better thank-you-very-much! Thanx all who wished me well.
And die in hell to everyone who didn't. 
Something has arisen from the Land of the Rising Sun that
will keep me preoccupied for a little while. A friend is coming here
tomorrow from Kyuushuu and so now that I'm better, I'll probably be
spending my time ... errr, not here.
I'll try and post regularly,
but I don't think my postings will be too regular for the next 2
weeks. See you all when I see you!

Ahh, unfortunately she's not really into Japanese muzac, NadareLJ!
She's more what I'd call a "corporate slave". But she's looking for
easier work now and is just gonna let it all hang out for a couple
o' weeks. I'm picking her up at the airport tomorrow, so I should be
pretty busy just travelling to "touristy" places with her.
Oh
well, beats saving my money before I come to Japan.

hiya!
sigh, many of you more astute ringworms might have noticed I've
been missing... well... brace yourselves... I wont have pc access
for a week.... so that means you'll all be without a disco or
kame.... god only knows what hell will break loose durring that
time...

More about
Japanese toilets than you need to know ..
But it's funny, ya know. Because Japan is just about THE most
technologically adept country in the world.
EXCEPT for the
toilets.
Oh - my - Gawd! Well, actually it's not too bad now.
Most homes have the toilets we so dearly love. BUT - a great deal of
them have traditional "squat" toilets. These things are basically a
ceramic hole in the ground, with no adequate flush system. So it's
quite common to see a Mr Hanky sitting around in there. Dammit, I
went to Tokyou, and everyone walking past can see you at the urinal
even! What the hell? I'd say there are SOME ways in which Japan
needs to adapt FAST!!
