Someone with
good memory: Quote Help? Best Dialogue?
Okay, anyone with a *really* good memory: Does anyone know what
Rachel says about children and the Morgans while talking to Noah
after the well scene?
And what is the dialogue between Rachel
and Richard Morgan as he goes upstairs and to the bathroom?
Especially as she tells him that her son will die ("Yes... he
will").
I know this is asking a lot, but just in case. While
I'm posting, I got the Japanese original in the mail and will be
watching it soon.

From Rachel's and Noah's scene after the well:
RACHEL She
wanted that child more than anything in the world. How could she
have done that? She just wanted to be heard. Sometimes children yell
or cry or draw pictures...
And the exchange between
Richard and Rachel prior to his death:
RACHEL What did you
do to her? She was your daughter! You killed Samara, didn't you? You
killed her and when your wife found out--
RICHARD My wife
was not supposed to have a child!
RACHEL Mr. Morgan! What
are you doing?
RICHARD Whispers...you could hear them all
the time...in your sleep. Even the damn
horses...
RACHEL Mr. Morgan, come out of
there.
RICHARD And those creatures...oh, Christ...the
things she'd show you...
RACHEL And she's still showing
them.
RICHARD And she'll never stop. You coming here
proves that.
RACHEL Where is she? Please, I have to stop
her! If I don't, my son will die!
RICHARD Oh yes, he will.
She never sleeps.
RACHEL Wait...no...

Reading over that dialogue between Rachel and Richard Morgan
(thanks, mikejonas) reinforces my lack of sympathy for Samara. Let
me be the hangman while everyone is crying over themselves for poor,
poor wittle Samawah. Waah ... she's just a child . . . waaah . . .
she's so innocent. Pssshhh! Pffft. Too bad there's no ghost killin
bullets that we can't put right between the eyes of that evil,
little @#%$.

thought...
If there WAS ghost killing bullets..what happens to the ghost after
it dies? Does it come back as a ghost of a ghost?
ok..back on
topic...
that dialogue made me think...maybe he knew about
the tape, not because it happened before, but maybe she "told him"
it would happen.

Re: but of

You'll probably be beter off with a sawed-off double barrel shotgun
with gold bullets strait from god himself.
** Samara stairs
at the Shotgun wide-eyed **
Samara: Isn't that just a tad
bit... Extreme?
InfluxDatum: ... no

Re: RINGU
To paraphrase Terry Pratchett, many means of combating the evil and
the supernatural have been tried over the years - prayer, fasting,
good works, exorcisms, and so on. But it took DOOM before anyone
thought of the double-barrelled shotgun. ;)

What I'd
do..
If I were to get rid of Samara, and we were in our "movie
world"
I would watch the movie, remember what time I saw it,
and on the seventh day. Who am I going to call?
Ghostbusters,
baby.
