If Samara was lazy, she might not do all of her dirty work herself-that is to say, she might have retired from the actual killing and now takes a more managerial role. What if, instead of coming out of the TV herself, she sends one of her past victims?? Maybe her most recent victim before you?? So maybe when Samara came for Noah, it was acually Katie-all Samara-ized with her hair turned black and in the uniform tattered white dress.... Just reading some other posts made me think of this. Thinking of the shot of Katie's feet running up the stairs and then the shot of Samara's feet plodding from the well... Would conveniently explain the whole child/adult finale scene, too! Just thinking out loud!
