Reply 		Deleted Scenes From Remake?
I have heard a lot aout the scarecrow video scene, the cabin owner dead in the boat, rachel in psych ward, and a "head bashing" scene. what are all these? and could someone point me in the direction of info on the original cut of the remake?

an original cut? heheh.. wait for the dvd release, hopefully it will contain them all.

several of those deleted scenes are explained to some length in this forum, just check all of the posts from the last week or so ^^

One of the trailers has the scene where Rachel is in the mental hos. but I can't be for sure.

On the official site there are a couple of pictures of Aidan and another of Rachel and Noah with another guy. Looks about 30ish. I don't remember him in the movie.

I've also seen stills of Noah pulling a canoe out of the water-I think that's the dead inkeeper scene....

I think they must have been trying hard for the PG-13

Actually, you can see a glimpse of Rachel is the mental hospital. This happens when she dreamed (or had a vision) that Samara was in her room. When Samara grabbed her arm, she had another vision with her in the hospital.

Oh, the director. That makes sense.

Yah, that's the boat shot. I heard there was a shot of the innkeepers wife in a catatonic state (a la Becca) and then Noah pulls that canoe in from the lake and inside is the inkeeper looking just as lovely as Katie in the closet.
