Check out this
idea
Hi.
A friend of mine thinks that Noahs girlfriend is in fact
Samara.
His theory on this idea:
Don't you think
Samara and Noah's girlfriend look the same? Don't you think they
look at least "kinda" the same? At the end of the film, you see
Noah's girlfriend go to the elevator, LEAVING by Noah's house. Isn't
it a coincedince that right after Noah died that His girlfriend came
out?!? Hmm.... Wouldn't she hear the glass break when noah knocked
over the shelf? Wouldn't she have went up to see what was happening,
wouldn't have made a big deal if she did. When Rachel came out of
Noahs house she stopped, as Noahs Girlfriend went in to the
elevator... With a smirk on her face that look like she accomplished
what she wanted to do. Maybe Rachel put the clues together and found
out that Noahs girl friend was Samara older..... The crime was in
1978 or somewhere around there and the look of the age on Noahs
Girlfriend was like 20-30. they are like almost the same. Its been
20-30 years since the incident. THINK PEOPLE!!! Add them up... Well
thats what i think kind of confusing but ill make it so that you
will understand....

if you've read up on Rasen, you would know that the
girlfriend/assistant character becomes impregnated with Sadako's
clone after the scene that she comes into contact with the
body.
it's a nice idea, but it doesn't work ^^

I knew he was wrong. I was telling him, "She was going UP the
apartment! Not down!!" But he refused.

Well...
Also, it seemed to me that it was one of those times where the
director shows how vulnerable Rachel feels at this point. If his
girlfriend WAS heading up to the apartment, Rachel probably didn't
have the emotional strength (or was too frightened) to call down to
her.

Not to mention that if she was seen coming down from the apartment
and then then the girlfriend went up to the apartment and saw dead
Noah, she would immediately suspect Rachel instead of something
coming out of the TV.

I have a few questions and suggestions about this aspect of Noah's
girlfriend. First, if I found my loved one dead (especially dead and
rotted as Samara's victims are left) I would be visibly upset. So I
think she hasn't seen Noah's body yet. Rachel hides from Noah's
girlfriend, so when she sees the body, she won't immediately suspect
Rachel. Also, does anyone think that its possible that Rachel hid
Noah's body? Just a suggestion...

Not
In the film it appeared as though Rachel was left in total shock at
seeing his body, (like the first girl who ended up the mental
hospital), I think that her lack of action in stopping the
girlfriend from going up is a reflection of this. I mean, look at
the damn face, would you immediately touch thing thing?

also they show Rachel clutching the tissue with Aiden's blood on it
... it's as if she's weighing warning Noah's girlfriend, with her
need to get back to her son.
